Thailand becomes the world’s 4th largest seasoning exporter

International Business News  –  According to Thai media reports, Thailand’s seasoning exports in 2021 will reach US$949 million, an increase of 12%, making it the fourth largest seasoning exporter in the world, second only to the European Union, the United States and China.

Judging from the current situation, the export of Thai seasonings will continue to grow, as more and more people are fond of Thai food. As for the seasonings with obvious export growth, mainly chili sauce (up 37%), soybean paste (up 27%), fish sauce (up 20%), seasoning powder (up 11%) and other types of seasonings (up 6%) %).

Data show that in March this year, Thailand’s exports increased by 19.5%, with an export value of 28.8596 billion US dollars, the highest export record in 30 years. Among them, Thailand’s agricultural exports rose gratifyingly. It is expected that the export of agricultural products will increase by 27.7% this year, generating an income of 2.163 billion US dollars. The main export agricultural products include vegetable oil, sugar, poultry food, seasonings, canned seafood, and semi-finished seafood.
